Caroline Burfield
Caroline has run Midsomer Homecare for over 25 years and took over the Company from her Parents Ian and Sue Dutton, who purchased Midsomer Homecare back in 1997 as a Franchise called Carewatch Bath.
In 2023, Caroline bought the Franchise and renamed the company Midsomer Homecare.
Caroline is passionate about providing the best care with the best team, and her ethos of going the extra mile is shown through every member of her team.
Pam Dunn
Known immediately by her ‘Aussie’ accent, Pam’s reputation precedes her. You will not meet someone who is more dedicated to getting Client’s the care they need. Whether they fund the care themselves or funded through a local Authority, Pam will get you what you need. She is a force to be reckoned with.
Pam has an extensive knowledge of care and has worked within a number of care establishments in her career and Midsomer Homecare has been privileged to have Pam as our Registered Manager and Guru for the last 14 years.
Stella Whitaker
Stella’s wealth of experience and knowledge of all things related to care is impressive. During her 36 years in the field, Stella has worked in multiple settings.
Stella handles all recruitment-related matters and ensures that all of our staff are trained for their jobs.
Stella has worked for Midsomer Homecare for 10 years, starting as a Reablement Team Leader and moving into the office as a Training Manager.
Elaine Hooper
Elaine is the glue that keeps our office running smoothly and efficiently.
Elaine has worked for Midsomer Homecare for over 15 years and when you call the office you will more often than not be met with her cheerful voice.
Elaine will be the first person to greet you when you enter our office and will always signpost you to the best person who can help you.
In essence, Elaine always gets the job done.
Chloe Brain
Chloe is the ray of sunshine in the office.
With Chloe’s superb knowledge of all our staff and clients, Chloe ensures that all clients receive the best care with the best care worker at the time they wish (or within half an hour, even Chloe is not perfect….).
Chloe is in charge of taking on new packages of care and ensuring our senior staff members have the correct information to arrange a care assessment so we can safely and efficiently start providing care to that person.
Chloe also started at Midsomer Homecare as a Reablement Team Leader and then joined us in the office and the office has not been the same since!!!
Chloe has worked for Midsomer Homecare for over 10 years.
Ann Moss
Ann is the lovely lady that you speak to when it comes to paying for care.
We understand that financing care can be complicated and Ann is here to guide you through this and give you any help you need.
You will never be in queue waiting to speak to someone about your invoice, Ann will always be on the end of the phone or email to help at any time. The only exception to this is when Ann has the audacity to take time off for holidays…but fear not, on these occasions Caroline steps in!
Ann has been with Midsomer Homecare for 7 years, and makes the perfect cup of coffee at 8.30am every morning.

What types of shifts do you offer?
We are constantly growing and have a wide variety of shifts you can choose from. We have long shifts, short shifts, day shifts, evening shifts, and weekends. We are available 7 days a week so we are flexible and will work around your schedule.
Where can I work?
We have one branch located just south of Bath in Midsomer Norton. All of our care staff work in Bath and the surrounding rural areas. Local people providing local care.
Regular Hours
At Midsomer Homecare, you are part of the team. You will be considered an employee of Midsomer Homecare which means pay is every four weeks, we are here for you if you have any questions!
